FAQ's

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of over 100 cannabinoid compounds that occur naturally in cannabis plants.

Years of research into CBD and its properties clearly show the benefit of this compound for therapeutic use. CBD interacts with the body's endocannabinoid system (ECS) to stimulate the production of endocannabinoids, which are cannabinoids that exist naturally in humans. These cannabinoids interact with corresponding cannabinoid receptors, helping to create internal balance and homeostasis.

The ECS is an essential chemical pathway that manages sleep, memory, appetite, pain response, and more. Because of CBD’s impact on this system, people use CBD oil and other CBD products to tackle issues such as poor sleep, aches and pains, and anxiety. However, more research needs to be conducted before CBD’s potential can be fully realized.

No, hemp seed oil found at the local store is not the same as CBD hemp oil. It’s important to read the labels carefully, even when purchasing online.

CBD hemp oil is made from the flowers of the hemp plant, no seeds are used in this process. The oil must be extracted from the flower to get the oil.

Hemp seed oil, on the other hand, is made by cold pressing the hemp plant’s seeds. The oil produced from the seeds is rich in amino acids, trace minerals, and other nutrients but doesn’t contain CBD, terpenes or any other naturally occurring hemp cannabinoids.

Customers who seem to get a lot out of CBD make it part of their morning routine or take it right before going to bed. The majority of our customers will split their dosage into 2-3 servings throughout the day (for example, morning, afternoon and evening).

There is currently no conclusive decision on the exact dosage that should be taken. It comes down to trial and error and finding the dose that works best for you. We recommend that you start low and slow with just a couple of drops daily and then increase gradually until you find the dose which works for you.

You might be surprised at how little it takes, so take the time you need to increase or decrease your dosage until you hit the sweet spot.

CBD can be absorbed into the body through many methods. When determining how to take CBD oil, the most common ways include:

SUBLINGUAL METHOD

By placing drops of CBD oil underneath the tongue and holding for a few seconds, you absorb CBD directly into your bloodstream. It gets into your system in about 15 to 30 minutes, and the effects may last for a few hours.

INGESTIVE METHOD

With CBD softgels, or gummies, CBD can be swallowed and ingested. It takes the CBD much longer to get into the bloodstream because it must go through a first-pass metabolism, which breaks the CBD molecules further down.

TOPICAL METHOD

Through topical balm or creams, CBD can be absorbed into the skin. It won’t permeate enough to reach the bloodstream; however, when coupled with other pain-relieving or relaxing ingredients, CBD may be useful for sore joints, muscles, and inflammation.
